We are 20 mins from Gold Coast airport. 3 kms from Husk Gin distillery. 11 km from SummerGrove Wedding Estate. 15 mins from Kingscliff. 30mins to Mt Warning. 1 hr to Byron Bay. With so many things to do we are in a great location. Bush walks to water falls not far away. Local swimming holes. Beaches. Great restaurants, art galleries, and lots more. The Shouse is a large comfortable space that’s tucked away at the back of our property. It offers a great location to the tweed region. it is a space that groups of people can enjoy, or just a couple, in a quiet tranquil area, surrounded by trees and the farm life. There is a large grass space great for playing outdoor games. Enjoy a night outdoors with a fire pit. We have a hammock available to enjoy your book or a glass of wine swinging from the tree. An outdoor patio has good seating and a bbq to enjoy. In winter there is a fire place in side that keeps the place cosy. It is set on a horse property, full of wonderful bird life to enjoy. We have our farm chickens to also keep you company! Your accomodation is very separate from our house. Where we can either choose to cross paths or not. We are divided by a large hill paddock and the buildings are set looking at different views. It has been said it’s a great nature escape. The guests have full use of the 3 bedrooms upstairs, and all of the living area downstairs. The outdoor area is large and private. There is a carport that can house 2 cars. We hope to keep out of your way unless you need our help. There are chickens that need feeding everyday. We are happy for guests to do this and collect eggs, or we can take care of them. It is a horse property with horse paddocks surrounding. They are feed once a day. We aim to keep well out of your way, but please be aware of this. There is a fire inside, if you wish to use of this. We give enough wood for your fire place for the night, over the winter months. If you wish for more we can supply for extra $ or please feel free to buy a bag of your own from a local service station. If you wish to have this extra, please make Tiffany is aware before hand so the wood can be ready for you. Your building is a hill and about 400m across a paddock. So quite secluded. We are 3 kms from Husk Distillery, 4kms from Tumbulgum Tavern and store. You require your own car to get here and around the local area. There is a neighbour not too far from the Shouse location. Please be mindful and have loud music turned down from 10pm.
