Wattleview Pool Shed is a New unique luxurious countrified retreat waiting for you to relax and breathe some fresh country air in a quiet picturesque setting. We offer a complimentary hamper and can accommodate allergy or dietary requirements. The Solar Heated Mineral Pool is available for you to use throughout the summer months. We are situated approximately 10 mins drive to Cape Bridgewater and 7 mins from Portland Town Central. We look forward to your stay. You’ll find Wattleview a very relaxed getaway with open spaces, yet sheltered from the hustle and bustle of town life. The interior is hand crafted using local up-cycled materials. Our dining table timber was once part of the old Portland Pier, and other timbers have come from local stock yards and fences. The barn doors were once local wool press bin panels and many of the light fittings and other fixtures are created using recycled materials. Although we live next door we assure your privacy and space are very much respected. This property isn’t suitable for young children due safety issues. We cannot sleep more than 4 people. Access to Wattleview is a shared driveway used by us and farm equipment at times. You have access to the mineral pool when you like. It is solar heated in summer / early autumn and sits between 27°C and 32°C. Your privacy is important to us, but we are about to answer questions and help with any concerns as we live at the same address. We welcome text or phone calls or happy to chat. We hope you enjoy the peace and tranquility of being in the country as much as we do. We operate a beef farm and our neighbours are crop farmers. Portland offers the best of coast and country with a sheltered harbour, access to The Great South West Walk, fishing, whale watching and surfing just to name a few. We are only a few mins drive to Portland for cafés, supplies, meals, boutiqué shopping and parks. Bridgewater Beach is under 10min drive where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, walking or relax at the café. You will need your own vehicle to get around ad there is no public transport. Taxi service is available. As we live in the house next door the laundry (which has an outdoor entrance) is a joint space and you are welcome to use as you need, just send me a message and I’ll show you the facility. The pool change rooms are available for you to use as you need and are attached to the Poolhouse. There is an outdoor shower provided for your use if your returning from the beach.
