La Felce Country House

La Felce Country House is a typical Tuscan country house. It is located 15 kilometres from Florence, amidst the Tuscan hills, with extensive private grounds. The beautiful swimming pool and the garden around it are only for the exclusive use of the occupants of the only flat to rent. La Felce Country House is the ideal house for those seeking a relaxing holiday and a full-immersion in nature. Positioned in a well cared garden, in the Tuscan countryside, with a suggestive and panoramic hilltop view, it offers those who stay an informal and family atmosphere. Extensive private grounds surround the house, which are at the complete disposition of our guests and feature olive groves, a large illuminated swimming pool for your exclusive use with a gazebo, sunbathing beds, outdoor shower and a covered parking. There is also a characteristic restored stone hay barn featuring a barbecue for an outside lunch or dinner and the garden has a number of shaded areas where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere and colors of the Tuscan countryside. The garden also has a tennis table and a football table for some relaxing fun time. The apartment measures 100 square metres and it is on the first floor of the large country house. It consists of two double bedrooms. It has a sitting room with an open fireplace and a sofa bed, a large dining room with dining table, sofa and television, a bathroom with a bathtub/shower and washing machine. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and another dining table. The apartment is very luminous and has great views from all the windows on the surrounding hills. There are mosquito nets at every window. We will be at the house to greet you upon arrival and again at departure and we are always at your complete disposition throughout your stay. La Felce Country House is situated in the Rignano sull’Arno district immersed in the silent greenery of the Tuscan countryside and just 15 km from Florence. The house can be reached by both an efficient bus service (bus stop 200 mt from the house), or by train (the station is in the local village, 7 km away). You can go on lots of daily tours from La Felce to other Tuscan cities of art such as Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Siena as well as the Chianti region with its famous wine cellars and villages. In the immediate area of La Felce you can find all basic services such as a pharmacy, supermarket, a number of restaurants & pizzeria, petrol station and banking services. For shopping lovers, the renowned designer outlet centre, The Mall is just a short drive away. The Vallombrosa forest and its monastery is also nearby as well as the Sammezzano castle and the Ugolino golf course is only a 30-minute drive away. It is also possible to take a Tuscan cooking course, enjoy wine & olive oil tastings, horse riding and lake fishing in the local area. Upon request, we can also collect you from the Florence Peretola airport or from the Florence train station. A safe is available. The pool towels are provided.
