My husband and I have farmland and an apiary, in Hancock, New Hampshire. We have a private cottage that is located next to the main house. We have 32 Acres of Land for hiking and exploring. There are plenty of local shops and restaurants in the Monadnock region. The cottage is best suited for a couple or a couple with one child. Please make sure to read house rules and entire overview before booking. One master bedroom with a queen size bed. The bunk room (no private door- it's a walk through to the master bedroom) has one fold away twin bed. There is also a very comfortable love-seat that a child could sleep on, as well. One bath, beautiful sunroom, eat in kitchen and living room. There is baseboard heat in all rooms, that is thermostat controlled. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom. Which is free to use, for our guests. We're best suited for one couple or a small family. Just a reminder- we do not have WiFi We are here if you need us. We don't want to interfere with your stay, but we would be happy to answer any questions you may have. By phone, text or email. It's a quiet town. Norway Pond is right down the road from our cottage in Hancock. The Hancock Market has all the necessities you may need while you stay here. The town of Hancock has a warm feeling of a small town community. Stop at Fiddleheads Cafe for lunch. They make a wonderful pizza! If you want to take a walk through the town. There is a little goat cheese factory right on Main Street. Best of all, we're only 35 minutes from Pat’s Peak ski resort, in Henniker (they offer tubing too.) Peterborough, has plenty of shops and restaurants to visit too. Plus, you're about 45 minutes from concord and about 25 from Keene. The Merrimack outlets are about an hour away. Reminder - no cable and WiFi Having a car is a necessity Being in the countryside, you may see...deer, raccoons, fox, and chipmunks. We have also seen a few snakes in the Spring and Fall, mice, spiders, and bugs. Although we do all we can to keep nature out of our home, this is natural part of country living. If this makes you uncomfortable, our place may not be for the spot for you. Just a reminder- We are also an apiary. So there are honey bees at the farm. Please note that we have a strict no pet policy. There are no exceptions. We do no allow pets. Reminder no WiFi and cable
