Cotswold Retreat - The Tiny House

A spectacular cosy retreat with fabulous country views. Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds The Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy a lovely holiday or weekend with your special someone. In Avening and close to Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol . Perhaps you enjoy walking or cycling or just antique hunting in Tetbury. The village has two great pubs. We provide delicious breakfasts, all firewood and a list of the best of local restaurants/takeaways. The Tiny House is a colourful, cosy retreat. Many of the rooms have been decorated by hand with paint effects and murals. The fireplace and bed have been painted to look like Malachite, and the bathroom designed to give a feeling of being at the beach. The floor is pebbles, the walls painted with colourful fish and turtles. All done by hand. Breakfast is left for you, including eggs, bacon, bread, cereal. We can organise for dinner to be left for your arrival if needed and always do our best to make your stay unforgettable. There is a cosy woodburner indoors, a small firepit outdoors to enjoy the views and look at the stars. There is no TV, but very good Wifi so very possible to curl up in the comfortable big bed and watch a movie after a luxurious soak in the roll top bath. Entire cottage also an outside space with table, chairs, barbecue, solar umbrella and firepit, to enjoy eating outdoors or having a sundowner and enjoying the view. We live right around the corner if you need anything, Stroud Farmers Market is a big attraction on a Saturday morning and a great place to find fresh organic food, and grab a coffee or lunch. Tetbury has amazing antique shops and in the summer we are in a great place to catch Gifford's Circus, a truly unique experience. Westonbirt Arboretum has many amazing concerts throughout the year and is also a beautiful place to walk around. As in many rural spots a car is pretty much the best way to get around, but there are two Railway Stations within 30 mins away and we can supply transport to and from . Buses from London run to Cirencester which is also within 30 mins away. We can rent cycles, and there are lots of amazing walks in the valleys. Lots of choice for eating out, two great pubs in the village.
