It lies within Cornwall's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From Porthallow Bungalow, you can explore the spectacular beauty of the Lizard Peninsula by car, bicycle or on foot. West Cornwall is also an ideal destination for anyone with an interest in arts and crafts with the highlights of the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum, and the Minack Theatre together with outstanding local galleries and artists' workshops everywhere, showcasing Cornwall's vibrant art scene. There are a host of National Trust and historic properties and gardens to explore in West Cornwall, including Trebah, Bonython, Lamorran, and Trelissick. Don't forget to visit St Michael's Mount and nearby Marazion with its stunning beach and surfing. Other nearby attractions include Goonhilly, Flambards Theme Park, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Trelowarren, Roskilly's and the local diving school at Porthkerris.
