Heavenly view on Mediterranean

This house gives you peace of mind just by looking at the 180°view over the Mediterranean sea seen from above. Nothing between you and the endless blue, marine horizon. Fall asleep to the sound of waves, wake up to the Italian sun. A truly unique view on the Mediterranean sea. 180° of blue beauty will make you feel at peace with the world. I know, as this is my summer place. It heals all the wounds! The house is a few mt from the sea, slightly uphill, and it's a last floor, so the view is just magic. A huge terrace will give you space to relax, eat, have an aperitivo overlooking the sea. Lemon trees, bougainvillea, orange trees, I like plants! Important note: the house is uphill and the parking with a big car might be challenging. If you have a big car, my suggestion is to drive up to the house, leave the luggage and go park the car where you might feel more comfortable, either a bit further down the same road or downhill where it's totally flat and there are some free parking slots + many pay parking spaces. However, IT IS POSSIBLE to park just by the house in the assigned parking area. You are welcome to use it if you are particularly experienced driving uphill or you have a small car. This house is the place of my heart. I am ALWAYS available for any question or need that you may have, or recommendation that I can give you. I basically grew up every summer of my life there, so I know where to go, what to do :) The Liguria coast is know for its breathtaking beauty, nothing to add to that. But this house is unique in the way it lets you catch it all in one long stare at the sea. Cogoleto is a lovely village as you can see in the pictures, you can eat freshly made focaccia, bath in a crystal clear sea and enjoy the longest sea-side walk of the region: no cars, nothing between you and the sea, and you can jog or walk for miles. This is definitely to try. You can walk or ride a bike from one village to the other (Cogoleto - Varazze - Arenzano) along a beautiful walk, pedestrians only. Really this is not a holiday, it's a recipe for the peace of mind, I've tried it many times and it works like a charm. You can land in Milan, Genova (Genoa) and hire a car (opt for small); the place is about 1h30' from Milan, 20' from Genova. Once you're there, you can visit all the surrounding and the region, there are regular boat trips to Le Cinque Terre, Portofino, Camogli, zero stress and by sea is definitely the best way to get to those places. If you just want to stay in Cogoleto (home to Cristoforo Colombo :), there is enough there already: beautiful beaches, great food (the real pesto!) and long long walks.
