Govandale Beach House

Govandale Beach House is situated along Kilchattan Bay on the top floor, with stunning views over the sea from the lounge and front bedroom . The cosy flat has 2 bedrooms, a quirky, well equipped kitchen with Netflix TV & comfy chairs, a beach themed lounge with inviting sofas and mesmerising seaviews, all connected by an old style dining table/area where family can eat, chat, play games together. Our flat is designed as a relaxing, quirky beach house for family/friends to relax, enjoy good food, read good books, take long walks, explore the island and drink in the amazing sea views. We choose to make the lounge a "device free zone" to recharge the human batteries, which is why the TV is in the back room, but of course, you can feel free to do as you please :-) Please note there are two flights of stairs. Free parking on the road outside the flat. We do not stay on the island, but you will have a contact number on the island to help you with any situations. Kilchattan Bay is reached by ferry from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay, and is a 7 mile drive away. You will find local shops & supermarket in Rothesay. At the Bay, there is small Post Office/Shop which serves coffees and rolls. You can preorder takeaway breakfast rolls to collect and enjoy upstairs in your cosy flat. A car is the best option for exploring the lovely island. There is also a frequent bus service to Rothesay which runs to meet ferry times.
