Gite les Rouets

The Gite has been created from an old cow shed/ barn with the downstairs converted into an open plan Lounge/Diner/Kitchen with a double and a twin bedroom upstairs. There is a private courtyard for al fresco dining, barbecue and sun bathing. Guests have there own private courtyard but are welcome to wander round the garden and help themeselves to fresh herbs for their cooking. We are always available to answer questions, provide advice and solve any problems. This is a very quiet and tranquil village but we are in the country and there are passing tractors from time to time. There are ample white lanes that are only used for local traffic and these are perfect for walking or cycling. The night skies can be brilliant due to low light pollution. Parking is directly outside the Gite (off road). There is no public transport serving the village apart from a bus on Saturday mornings that enables shopping at Chef Boutonne market. Note that charging of electric vehicles is strictly forbidden due to insurance restrictions.
