The Library Loft-City & Sea views, Spa & Serenity.

Stay in our converted garage loft. Please note: NO SMOKING/STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY. The apartment is a few meters away from the main house where we live but it is very private. A little industrial and a lot classic, with views to the sea over northern Adelaide. It has a light-filled compact en-suite, kitchenette with sink, bar fridge, induction cook top, electric grill, convection microwave, Nespresso pod machine and essential items. Pool and spa are available on request. Our property is 10 minutes from Tea Tree Plaza and the Modbury area, and about 25 minutes from the city. With amazing views over Adelaide, you will love our property. It is a peaceful, bird-filled setting on a beautiful hillside location, looking west to Gulf St. Vincent. Stay in our library loft and recharge. Guests have access to a spa and pool upon request. Our property is spacious and looks directly down the Adelaide airport runway. It's a great place to watch the planes from the north-west bank overhead. Upon request, our spa and pool are available for guest use. The spa is next to our kitchen windows but we will use block out blinds and respect your space, allowing you to enjoy the amazing sunsets in peace and solitude. You are welcome to use the garden furniture for sunning yourselves, reading, dining and relaxing. With the beautiful views over Adelaide, you will feel more relaxed in our garden immediately. We are available to our guests, and, if we are home, we are happy to answer your questions in person. We will endeavor to answer questions via social media, the Airbnb website or text. Our numbers are in the guest information book. At times, we may share the garden area or be busy with the chickens! We will respect your privacy at all times. Close by is Glen Ewin Estate and a little further away is the historic Inglewood Inn. Down towards the suburbs is the historical Fox and Firkin Hotel. We are right near to Anstey Hill, which has great views of Adelaide and wonderful walking terrain. Westfield Tea Tree Plaza is only 10 minutes away. Sometimes the Tour Down Under goes right past our driveway, 500m up the hill. The beautiful towns of Gumeracha and Birdwood are a short drive in to the countryside away. Drive for 50 minutes or so, and you will be at the town of Mannum on the River Murray. The Library Loft is close to the Barossa Valley, the Adelaide Hills and various wedding venues. We are situated under the flight path to Adelaide airport for those who love plane watching. We Never tire of watching those planes! We don't have public transport links where we live but everything is an easy drive around here! The O-Bahn bus leaves Tea Tree Plaza for the city regularly and there is plenty of car parking along the bus route. The Barossa Valley is about a 50 minute drive to the north. We have a relaxing back way to get there from our place if driving. Our Adelaide Hills towns and wineries are right near by. No smoking permitted. We have three dogs who are very friendly. If you like dogs feel free to say hello. If you don't we will keep them inside. We have a cat, Callie. She is a free spirit and will adopt you if you wish! Our chickens wander in the garden outside of the Library Loft. The kangaroos on our property may seem tame but they are wild animals. Please do not attempt to pat or feed then. Do not threaten them. We respect our wildlife at the Hermitage.
