Detached house Longniddry East Lothians Golf Coast

Spacious double bedroom, with 1 double and 1 single, for double or single occupancy. Adults only. We provide shampoo, soap, bedding and towels. We are located on the East Lothian coastline, there is a local pub/restaurant, small supermarket, golf courses 6x within a 10 minute drive, horse riding, beautiful sandy beach and café within a 5-10 min walk. Public transport to Edinburgh, 17 mins by train, 30 mins by bus. Great for the Edinburgh festival & Hogmonay. Local walks and cycling. Spacious bedroom is tastefully decorated in a large detached house on a quiet street in Longniddry, next door to the bedroom is a private bathroom (shower and bath) for guests. The bedroom currently has one double and one single bed with double windows overlooking Gosford Estate to the rear of the house. There is a large front and rear garden with seating. In the bedroom there is a hairdryer, TV, blue ray player, DVDs, books in the room. Tea and coffee is available in the fitted kitchen.. We do not offer breakfast as we are up and away early during the week, but we will provide you with: bread, milk, butter eggs and cereal. Large kitchen with fitted appliances, you will have a cabinet to keep your goods, shelves in the Fridge, condiments, spices., kettle, microwave, toaster, pots and pans are all free to use. There is also a dinning area for your use with patio doors opening onto the secluded back garden. We have a laundry room with a washing machine you can use, along with iron and ironing board. Guests also have use our private garden which has a table and chairs. We also have a secure double garage to store any golf cubs or sports equipment. We do not allow golf clubs in the house. We have horses, and two little dogs, which keeps us both busy, so you will mostly be left to your own devices. We live in the house, Andrew also works from home. we will be around and are happy to help you with any bookings you want to make before you arrive. And if we can help with transportation please let us know. If we are around we are are happy to collect you from the train station if we can. Close to some world renowned golf clubs. Longniddry beach is a few minutes walk, Longniddry train station is only a short walk with trains to Edinburgh and North Berwick. Bus stops 2 mins away ideal for business guests. Horse riding is available in village, lots of scenic coastal walks on The John Muir Way. Longniddry is a lovely village, friendly people and great to walk around. Close to cycle and walking routes, we have a great beach just a few minute walk away. A very warm welcome is guaranteed. Longniddry train station is an 8 minute walk with trains hourly into Edinburgh in off-peak and every 30 minutes in peak time. Reliable public bus service. Parking is outside property. When the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is on there is extra trains and bus services put on late into the night. There are two bus stops within a short walking distance from the house. The beach is close to the house. It is also nice to walk around the village and to walk the Haddington Railway walk. We are a few minutes from Longniddry Golf Club, 5 minutes from Craigelaw and Kilspindie Golf Clubs, 10 minutes from Gullane where you have Muirfield and Gullane Golf Clubs and 17 minutes to The Glenn East Links in North Berwick. Edinburgh City Centre is 17 minutes by train with many historical places of interest, excellent shopping, 5 star restaurants. Our location is a golfers dream with many internationally renowned golf courses within easy reach. This is a super area, safe and peaceful but with lots to do for golfers, sightseers, walkers, bird watchers, and cultural enthusiasts. We have two small dogs and we live in the house. It is a shared entrance, it is a room in our house, but the room is away from our main room so you have privacy. We will make you feel at home and as comfortable as we can.
