Step back in time with Chateau Catto's 1930s decor, complemented with modern comforts and convenience. Apart from birdsong, it's very quiet up in our back corner of the complex, away from the road. We make a point of being here to warmly welcome you on arrival, and during your stay we'll offer help and company, even some pleasant piano music occasionally. Our two friendly cats invite your pats. And every guest we've had has commented on how well they slept in the comfortable bed. You will, too! Our complex, Carindale Reserve, offers lots of marked visitor parking spaces. No, nearby residents don't own these spaces! In our home, we are happy to share our kitchen, dining and lounge areas with you. We like to hear your stories of where you've been and where you're going. You will have your own suite with bedroom and large wardrobe, with adjoining bathroom and toilet. (We have our own quarters at the other end of the house.) Our well-equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge, front patio and back balcony are available for your use and enjoyment. We love to help you feel at home by answering your questions, being helpful, and sharing stories or even board games. If you are staying for a while, we may even get together with another Airbnb friend and her guests for a shared meal. A bit like happy families! If you like bushwalking, the Belmont Hills Reserve adjoins our property. It offers several walking paths and the chance to meet some bush critters like wallabies and kookaburras. Our home is conveniently near such venues as the Chandler Sports Complex, the Belmont Shooting Complex and Westfield Carindale's marvellous shopping centre. If you need to venture forth from our peaceful and comfortable space, we're close to an excellent, frequent bus service to take you to the city or to the Redlands. Westfield Carindale shopping mall is quite close. Brisbane CBD is about 12 km away. Host Josephine works from home as an editing and writing consultant.
