You will have to take a car or bike to the closest store or eatery. There are three bridges that connect Vermont to NY that go over Lake Champlain. The connecting towns are Crown Point, NY to Addison, VT; Rouses Point, NY to Alburg, VT; and Whitehall, NY to West Haven, VT. Plus the Ferry to VT from Plattsburgh runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
