Spacious flat in a stylish house close to town

This is a spacious flat occupying the loft area of our house. The rooms are large and light. The house is set in its own garden, in a quiet neighbourhood, yet is only 200m from the historic medieval town centre, famous for its remarkable architecture and hot salt-water spa, as well as friendly bars, restaurants and shops. 1200m to excellent public open-air pool. 750m to large supermarket. Our guests have enjoyed the local pool, barbecues in the garden, restaurants and bars in town. Salies has its own weekly market (Thursday), and there are markets in neighbouring towns too. A little further afield is canoeing, and further still (60km) are fabulous beaches, beautiful seaside towns, and the magnificent Pyrenees. Garden. Private parking. We like to greet guests on arrival, and are delighted to share our knowledge of the region. I particularly like the thermal baths, which is a uniquely relaxing experience. If you spa in the morning, then follow it with a coffee; in the afternoon with a beer or glass of wine in the nearby cafe. Public transport is limited. To explore the area you really need a car. There is good cycling (you can hire from the Tourist Office, including electric). I have a book of many walking routes. If you want to invite someone onto the property who is not included in the reservation you have made, then please get our agreement first.
