Delightful double room in lovely Edwardian House
This is a large light room on the first floor of a lovely Edwardian house with a comfortable double bed. It has a small ensuite shower and toilet. It is equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster, and small microwave. It is on a bus route and about 20- 25 minutes walk to city centre. The house is on a main road opposite Roath Park recreation ground, with on street parking. There are plenty of eateries and lovely shops in the vicinity . The house was built in 1901 and is essentially Edwardian in character. As it is opposite a park it is very suitable for taking lovely walks up through the rose garden to the nearby Roath Park Lake famous for its bird life and swans. The room available for guests is self contained with its own key. There is no access to other parts of the house As a host I live on the premises and would be available if guests need any relevant information or guidance about the area . Breakfasts are taken in the room and items for basic continental breakfasts are provided. These include tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast, butter, preserves, croissants/pastries, and fresh fruit. If guests need to heat anything up there is a small microwave. The house is located opposite the beautiful Roath Park. There are lovely park walks, rose gardens and Roath Park lake nearby. Wellfield Road and Albany Road nearby provide independent shopping, galleries, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There are plenty of buses into Cardiff Centre from Ninian Rd or a few minutes walk away. Walking into town takes approx 20-25 minutes. Taxis also available. Guest will be given their own house key so they may come and go at their own convenience.
