Lakeside Lodge is a beautiful home from home lodge. Featuring 3 bedrooms one with en-suite, main bathroom, kitchen with essential utensils & dishwasher, 6 seater dining table, wifi, sky channels & Netflix, decking with seating & parasol, with lovely views over the lake. The park features a leisure centre with pool,spa and gym (chargeable onsite) bar & restaurant. Lovely walks in the local vicinity. Ideally placed to explore the Lake District. We allow one well behaved dog too. Sorry no cats Lakeside Lodge is the the perfect place to relax and unwind. The decor is comfortable and homely adding to the relaxing feel. The lodge has space for max 2 cars beside it. Please do not park on the grass areas. A car is a necessity if you are wanting to explore the Lake District though there is also a train station in Carnforth and local bus routes on the A6 just outside the park. Lots of local walks straight outside the park and beyond. Also excellent cycle routes. I will be available if needed though we do live an hour away so if need in an emergency I will endeavour to sort any problem as best I can remotely. The park has a restaurant and bar, leisure centre with pool,spa and gym (book slots and chargeable on site) Fishing is also permitted on the park with permission. There are a few larger fisheries within walking distance. Greenlands farm and shop is nearby and definitely worth a visit. Also there are a few bar/restaurants nearby and lots of local walks to explore. BOOKINGS: check in days are Monday (for 4 or 7 night stays) and Friday (for 3 or 7 night stays) System will allow 3or4 night bookings for longer stays drop me a message Please check restrictions on pets. One well behaved dog welcome. Cancellations : please see photos for our current cancellation and refund policy. Covid cancellations : If you unfortunately have to cancel due to Covid please note proof of isolation status with a name attached will need to provided to generate a refund. A car is a must if you would like to explore the surrounding towns and villages. There is a train station 1m away in Carnforth which has links on the west coast line. Local buses run along the A6 ( check with reception on times) We allow one well behaved dog to stay at our lodge. Sorry no cats. Please ensure you bring their bed and spare towels to clean them. We will provide pet bowls and poop bags. All dogs must be kept on a lead on the site and in the surrounding areas due to local farm cattle. ** Rubbish ~ please remove rubbish daily by taking to the large bins provided in the service yard by the exit barrier. Do not leave any rubbish outside the lodge as this encourages wildlife foraging and is unacceptable. Any rubbish left outside the lodge on the day of check out will be reported and a claim made to Airb&b Leisure centre facilities are chargeable onsite.
