Bell tent (Buttercup) - Ribble Valley Retreat

A perfect location to explore the Ribble valley. Luxurious and spacious, tents accommodate 2 adults and 3 children comfortably. Contact us for 3 adult requests. Just minutes away is Clitheroe market town with castle and museum. Lots of stunning walking/cycling and historical sites in the area. 4 minute train ride (station opposite) to beautiful Whalley with it's boutique shops, bars and cafes. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and gastro pubs. We have 4 bell tents with spectacular views across the Ribble valley and magestic Pendle Hill Each tent has mains lighting, 2 electricity points, private bbq fire pit with 2 wooden stools and a picnic bench Double mattress, bedding with pillows and towels provided Children can be accommodated with camp beds on request, we advise bringing sleeping bags to keep them cozy and we’ll add an outdoor chair and throw blanket for each child The site is separated from the farm with fences and gates. We ask you do not access working parts of the farm without permission and supervision. You’ll be able to relax in peaceful surroundings, soak up the views and get glimpses of our cows and sheep. You can witness farm activity and meet our animals up-close on request We are in the farmhouse on site for help and assistance Directly opposite the farm is the train station with links to Blackburn, Clitheroe and Whalley in under 10 mins. The direct route to/from Manchester is just under an hour. The village of Langho has a pub, Indian restaurant, Michelin star restaurant, spa salon, beauty salon, hairdressers, sandwich shop, children’s play area and convenience store. Train and bus stations are directly opposite the farm. If you came by train you wouldn’t need a car to reach areas of interest such as Whalley and Clitheroe. A car will get you to Pendle Hill and the witches tours, the famous Tolkien trail and Roman villages in around 25mins We are a working farm with lovely surroundings and spectacular views. The lawns aren’t perfectly manicured and landscaped (although we do have path access to your pitch) so bring suitable footwear.
