Modern Potato Point Beach House

Please do not stay with any CoVid symptoms. No large groups or parties of any size. Well suited for couples and nature lovers. Our house is located in a quiet hamlet and is perfect for those wanting a quiet getaway close to beautiful swim and surf beaches. Custom details will impress and the beautiful location will relax you: handcrafted hardwood deck draws you into the open plan living space with polished concrete floors, high ceilings, caesarstone benches and blackbutt hardwood details. The whole house is available for your use, except access to the other bedrooms (3 rooms), storage shed and linen cupboard is restricted. Space for guests is provided in the top drawer bathroom, pantry (empty shelf) and fridge. Towels are provided in the bathroom for bath use only. Guests are requested to bring beach towels. There is no air conditioning but a portable heater is provided in winter and hot water bottles are perfect for warming up the beds. The house has been designed by the owners in conjunction with local and Sydney based architects, with a view to provide us with a beachside sanctuary for our family. The simplified design draws light and optimises seasonal warmth into the living space with high ceilings and large glass windows. The pivot point for the best views are located at the 2.5m kitchen bench or large dining table, providing partial coastal views along the northern Potato Point beach up to the township of Tuross. The kitchen is filled with modern conveniences - large fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven/grill. Crockery and cutlery for at least six people is included. Partial ocean views from the large hardwood deck match perfectly with something bubbly!! Full access except owners room and linen cupboard We are available via text at any time, contact via phone is also available but may be limited during business hours. We appreciate a message sent to confirm arrival and entry into premises as we have self checkin. A lovely isolated hamlet, the local town is Bodalla (of dairy fame), and Narooma and Moruya are the nearest larger towns with supermarkets. Our hamlet was not directly affected by the 2019 bushfires, but our local fire volunteers were busy all summer protecting us. Self drive. The entire house and external area is absolutely non smoking, and is not for party (or similar) use. Access to supermarkets is limited, so please bring food with you or arrange a supermarket delivery (Narooma Woolworths). A reasonable range of condiments is available for fair use by guests (salt and pepper, sauces etc). If you get caught short, you can use cupboard items such as a packet of dry food (pasta, rice etc) but please replace when you get the next chance.
