RIVERVIEW - LUXURY PRIVATE SUITE NEAR BEACHES/PUBS

Riverview is a bespoke, large, boutique style self-contained suite with a private ensuite luxury shower room. It is elegant, calm and tranquil. It has a separate entrance and exclusive use of a terrace (with probably the best view in town) overlooking the beautiful River Artro and its historic stone bridge. It is in the prime central location, in the heart of the pretty Welsh Snowdonian village of Llanbedr, set amongst stunning scenery and a few minutes drive from several beautiful beaches. Croeso (Welcome) to Riverview If you are looking for affordable luxury, in a beautiful location with lots to do, then look no further! Riverview adjoins the home of the owners, a newly renovated property known as “The Old Library”, a large stone cottage dating back to the late 1800’s, which has a wealth of history. Riverview itself is completely private with no shared facilities. You will have your own private entrance, with access to your room via a key safe. Free on street parking is available by the riverside opposite your room. You can relax in your luxurious private suite, which is very contemporary in style. It has a modern four poster bed, a 50” HD TV with satellite receiver, comfy chairs and coffee table, a dressing table/computer desk and plenty of storage for clothes. It has lots of socket points for those all-important electronic devices and benefits from mood lighting throughout. High speed wi-fi internet access is provided free of charge. All bed linens are provided. Your private luxury ensuite shower room is again very contemporary in style. It is fully tiled with a rain shower, basin and WC. Underfloor heating gives it a cosy feel. It has a heated towel rail. Mood lighting and a large illuminated heated wall mirror complete the theme. Quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash are available for your use. Quality towels are provided. There is a small silent fridge and a kettle. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits are provided for your convenience on arrival. Although we do not offer cooking facilities, there are 3 pubs, a cafe and a convenience store for all your holiday needs practically on your doorstep! There are also plenty of other eating options further afield. Details can be found in our comprehensive folder of information, along with ideas for places to visit. Step out of your suite on to your exclusive use terrace. It has a table and chairs and is the perfect place for you to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while you admire the river and the beauty of the village. For your enjoyment, the terrace is planted with exotic flowers and shrubs including thunbergia, jasmine, cordylines, bananas etc. Your only decision will be in which of the 3 lovely pubs you will choose to have your evening meal! As we live in the adjoining property, we are available should you require any assistance. However, your own space is private and we will not intrude. The cottage is ideally located and there is an abundance of activities allowing the holidaymaker to do as much or as little as they choose. It is very near to many beautiful beaches, the nearest being Shell Island and Llandanwg, both of which are only about 2 miles away. The famous Italian village, Portmeirion is a 20 minute drive away. Snowdon is approximately 50 minutes drive away. Harlech and its lovely castle is only a few minutes drive away. Porthmadog, Criccieth, Pwhelli, Abersoch, Barmouth, Dolgellau etc. are all close by. There are walks in abundance. You will never tire of things to do and places to visit. There is a convenience store within a minute’s walk from the cottage offering a comprehensive range of groceries, including Welsh specialities. For ladies and gents in need of a little pampering, we have a local hairdressing salon incorporating an award winning barbershop. There are 3 lovely pubs to choose from. You can see the Victoria Inn (1 minute walk away) over the bridge from your bedroom window! The railway station is an 8 minute walk away and this gives easy access to the whole of the Cambrian coastline, from Aberystwyth in one direction to Pwhelli in the other. The scenery just from the train window alone is magnificent! Buses pass through the village on a regular basis, with the bus stop only a minutes walk from your room. Bicycles can be hired from the village. You really don't need to use a car if you don't wish to! Of course, it goes without saying, that the walking routes from the village are abundant and simply stunning!
