You live in an ecologically certified BIO solar house, built antiallergenic and plastic-free, barrier-free and furnished in a stylish 70s vintage ambience. Enjoy the huge park plot in the middle of the vast meadows and lakes in the area. Use your feet, our bicycles and the e-scooter again for excursions into the deserted nature. If you bring two-wheelers, there is a lockable shed for this. Chill out on the terrace, at the many seats and loungers in the Romantik Park or in the weatherproof winter garden. Relax in the resting places by the pond, under the trees or soak up the full sun - but above all visit the Baltic Sea. The building has a unique, patented “house in house” concept. The weatherproof outer shell is characterized by its transparent roof, under which hot water collectors catch the solar energy and also use the greenhouse effect. The dust-free wall heating uses the body's collector effect. All building materials are made from natural materials, there is real parquet flooring, and for ecological and aesthetic reasons we chose Scandinavian mid-century furniture as the furnishings. The African decorative elements in retro style come from the range of my company MAHAFALY. For city children, our lovingly designed romantic garden, the diverse village environment, moats, forest and meadows are a place of discovery and play. Your landlord Uwe and his Malagasy visitor and company apprentice Tahiry live on the same property in the neighboring house. As a team we try to enable you to have a nice and undisturbed stay, are available for a coffee or more, but leave you completely alone if you wish. Adjacent to the apartment is our warehouse and shipping warehouse for exotic items from Madagascar, but this will not bother you. The office is in the adjoining house. So there is usually someone on the premises, albeit busy. In the seaside resort of Heringsdorf, our fair trade company runs a shop with art, natural goods, recycled objects and souvenirs. Usedom is the most scenic holiday island in Germany. The "bathtub of Berlin" is known for its white sandy beaches, clean water, a romantic hinterland and the incomparable spa architecture. Many cycle paths criss-cross the island, there is water everywhere, boundless meadows, beech forests and wetlands result in a great diversity of species, especially birds. From the BALMGARTEN you only need a few minutes by car to the seaside resorts with the usual infrastructure and all shopping facilities. In Balm there is the famous golf course, behind it a swimming area and 2 restaurants. In the neighboring village of Neppermin you will find a swimming area with a fish restaurant and an incomparable sunset, the famous Cafe Wally and fishing spots, a pier and a boat harbor. Otherwise, please use the search engine on the Internet, it is often smarter than we are. You can reach the island by Flixbus (from Berlin in 3-4 hours), UBB bus, train and car (2.5-3 hours). Local public transport on the island is in need of improvement, buses in the hinterland run too little. Use the bike, there are enough rental bike stations (model region of the federal government). The cycle path network is excellent. On the coastline between the seaside resorts there is the UBB Ostseebahnlinie to Poland and good bus connections. In the season, parking spaces in the seaside resorts are full, but it is not impossible.
