Lovely roof top Apartment, 2 min away from lake

Our place is close to family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, and the city centre. You’ll love ou place because of the light, the comfy bed, and the cosiness. Our place is good for couples, business travellers, and families(with kids). There is one bedroom fitted with 1 double bed + an optional toddlers bed. In the living room there is sofa bed(sleeps 2) and another sofabed(sleeps 1). Within the livingroom is a little kitchenspace with 2 hubs. Total squareme (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sqft The space is on the top floor of a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) built Villa named Marienheim. The attic was converted into the apartment 12 years ago. The view from the living room over the garden towards the mountains, the lake and the castle 'Schloss Orth' is stunning. The apartment is very cosy, the wood heated stove gives you even more cosiness. The houses is next door to the 'Kulturcafe' (no noise pollution...;) which is a great place to hang out for drinks and food if you like. 2 min walk from the house is a public swimming ground at the lake called Lehenaufsatz. Another 8 - 10 minutes walk into the town centre you reach the main square where boats depart which bring you around the lake. This is the old town with lots of little alleys, amazing buildings, shops and so on. You will get the keys to the apartment and the rest is about you making yourself feel at home..;) Will not be a big deal, I can promise We will give you plenty of recommendations what to do and explore in the area. You will not be bored. The whole area called the 'Salzkammergut' is a very popular travel destination. Further south, approximately 45min drive or an hour on the train is the very famous celtic village called 'Hallstatt'. This village is a must visit place situated at the 'Hallstättersee'. Just above the lake is the 'Dachstein' a mountain which you can discover.Either a hike in summer or a cable car can bring you up there. From the south side of the mountain (another 1.5 hours drive) is another cable car (Dachstein Südwand Bahn) which will bring you up to the glacier. Around the corner of Hallstatt is Bad Ischl, very famous for the emperor Franz Joseph's summer residency and his amazing castle. It goes on and on with many more lakes, valleys, mountains, villages and nearby towns such as Salzburg you can check out. Public transport in the area is really good. Buses, trains and boats bring you wherever you want and getting around is pretty straight forward.
