June 2021 update: At this time the Poleeko Yurt is operating with a max occupancy of 8 guests from two family households in accordance to Mendocino County's Covid-19 guidelines. The yurt offers sleeping with twin single and bunk bends. It is great for a group vacation or event. There is a full bathroom attached with 3 stalls and 3 showers. Farm Stay Inn is located on a well, water throughout the property is potable. If sensitive to well water, please provide your own drinking water. Our 250 acre farm is a rare jewel in rural Anderson Valley, sitting atop a mountain ridge, surrounded by redwoods and pine trees, containing open meadows, scenic lakes, and established fruit tree groves. Our rooms are sanitized before and after your stay by our professional cleaning staff. We are following all of the recommendations laid out by the CDC and our staff is taking all recommended preventative measures in order to avoid contracting and spreading the COVID-19 virus. We have comprehensive policies and protocols guiding our on-the-ground actions to ensure guest health. The Anderson Valley itself is home to a bevy of local shops, wineries, farms, and even a brewery. There will be a list of community events updated weekly for guests. There are two State Parks within 10 miles of Blackbird Farm and the closest beach is 15 miles away in Elk. The town of Mendocino is an hour drive through the redwoods and along Hwy 1. Farm Stay Inn at Blackbird Farm is not located near public transportation. In addition to the Poleeko Yurt, we have a variety other cabins/rooms available and can accommodate groups of up to 20 guests at a time.
