The Packing Shed - West Woombye

Relax and soak in the beautiful, tranquil and unique setting while still having easy access to all the Sunshine Coast has to offer. A beautifully renovated Packing Shed on 15 acres, with lovely rolling hills. Tastefully decorated with exposed beams and rough sawn hardwood feature walls, the cottage features a luxurious queen bed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and en suite bathroom. This cottage is ideal for couples looking for a cosy and quiet getaway, but a double bed fold out couch can be set up for guests travelling with younger kids who don’t mind sharing a sleeping space! The front of the cottage is now dog fenced to allow you and your fur baby more privacy and the potential to explore some of the National Parks if you are comfortable to leave them for a period on their own. Make the most of the gorgeous Sunshine Coast evenings and relax with a sundowner on your own private sitting veranda or in the communal Sunset Lounge, enjoying the tranquil views through fruit trees down to the creek. No need to eat out, why not make a home cooked pizza in the quick and easy to use commercial pizza oven in the shared alfresco dining area. On the cooler winter nights you can still enjoy the outdoors with the use of two fire pits on the property, or if you prefer - snuggle up on the couch with a book, movie or board game. Guests are free to roam, enjoy the space, walk down to the creek, have a dip if the water levels are high enough, pick some avos, guavas, persimmon, custard apples, mangos or any other fruit that is seasonal. Have a sundowner and snacks in the sunset lounge or a homemade pizza in the commercial pizza oven. Happy to chat on arrival or via text or phone, but if you are after a quiet space to meditate or relax and don’t need any questions answered, recommendations or advice, we can leave a key out for you to let yourself in and make yourself at home. West Woombye is a gorgeous pocket of green, tucked away but still in very easy access to the gorgeous swim and surf beaches of Noosa, Sunshine Beach, Coolum, Currimundi, Moffat Beach, Caloundra and Bullcock Beach. If you feel like an amble or a more challenging trek in a lush rainforest or refreshing swim under a waterfall, you’ll be spoilt for choice with Gardner, Kondalilla, Booloumba, Wappa and Mapleton Falls a short drive away. Parklands Mountain BikeTrails, Australia Zoo, Montville, Malaeny, Mount Ninderry, Mount Cooroora, Mount Coolum, paddling or boating on the Noosa Everglades and an insatiable offer of world class restaurants and cafes, a weekend to explore is not enough, so stay for a week or come back soon! Since the Sunshine Coast is such a diverse and naturally beautiful area, having your own car or transport is highly recommended. We have plenty of space close to the cottage to park a car and trailer for surfboards, canoes, mountain bikes or a boat if you need to. We have recently fenced the front of the Packing Shed (not shown on the photos) to incorporate the fire pit and up to the hedge to create a more private space and allow a more relaxed stay with your fur babies if their recall is not all that reliable!
