Welcome to Tom’s Cottage which is a newly renovated peaceful retreat nestled in the extensive gardens of the historic “Wilgowrah” homestead on a 480 acre working farm. Located just 5 kms from Mudgee you may explore the many attractions of the region with ease. Tom's Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast in the morning sun on the deck or relax on the sun lounges in the afternoon. Take walks along Lawson Creek or go out and about and enjoy what Mudee has to offer. The cottage features an ensuite bathroom, king bed, leather lounge, gas fireplace for winter warmth, television and reverse cycle air conditioning for comfort all year round. A fully equipped kitchen featuring a breakfast bar overlooks the countryside. Enjoy the peaceful views to Lawsons Creek and Mount Buckaroo from the large north facing deck. Entire Cottage We aim to ensure you have peace, quiet and privacy however we are more than happy to meet you and share our farm with you. It's your choice and feel free to call us at any time. The Mudgee region is very picturesque and noted for its wineries and cellar doors. It's also not too big and busy. No traffic lights. There is a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. You will need your car to get around the district but if you are the active and adventurous type take advantage of our complimentary bikes provided for your use. Our pet dog is a very friendly Jack Russell named "Birch". If you prefer we can keep her in her enclosure whilst you are here.
