Cosy rustic home in the hills above Bologna

My home feels quite remote and rural, even though it is only 18km from Bologna and 5km from the nearest towns of Sasso Marconi and Calderino. I have the ground floor of an old farmhouse, about 300 years old. It is very characteristic and well furnished, but with no frills. Large living room with fireplace. A little dark in fireplace corner, but cosy too. Direct access to land, parking right by entrance, lots of woods around us. My neighbours are two couples on two floors above me. Entire house. It is my home, so this listing is for when I go away. Guests get use of the whole place. If you are looking for a single room, cheaper solution then my home is also listed as 'Country retreat in the Appenine hills near Bologna' - for when I am home and can host one person. Entire place, including outdoor area with hammock I may be available to greet guests in person at check in. If not, the neighbours are available to help and provide info as and when required. Nothing! Haahaa. Well, there is a bar/trattoria. Not great on atmosphere, but not bad food. And next to it, a posh restaurant, beyond my budget, but popular and highly rated. Apart from that, there are CAI paths for excellent walking trails. Car. Or motorbike. Own wheels are essential Parking is available right outside my door. And the house is behind an electric gate The house is rustic, so it has its little quirks. For example, the gas cooker requires a lighter, there is no TV, the telephone signal is not great; on the other hand the house is full of books and films, there is a cosy fireplace, there is a decent internet connection, and there is lots of beautiful land.
