Rural penthouse with stunning lake view

Are you looking for a relaxing holiday immersed in the beauty of nature in a rural context at Lake Garda? Look no further :-) Our panoramic home at Lake Garda is located in Bezzuglio, a quiet and charming village in the 'Parco Alto Garda Bresciano' park, a few kilometers from Salò and Toscolano Maderno, away from traffic and mass tourism. The apartment has a living room with stunning lake view and access to the terrace, a kitchen corner (dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster and water boiler provided) a queen size bedroom, a small bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom. Please note that the apartment is located on the third and last floor (NO elevator). WiFi internet connection is provided. Everything you see in the pictures, you can use :-) You are welcome to access all above described spaces. We just keep a private closet in the small bedroom for our own storage purposes. Since I do not live in the area I have a great co-host who will take care of you. Her name is Ilaria and she will be happy to help you anytime :-) She will be meeting you in Toscolano Maderno and guide you to to the house by car. The apartment is located in a small, quiet and charming village where houses are made of stones and surrounded by woods, olive trees fields and limonaia's (characteristic architectural structures for growing lemon trees). What makes this home so special is the view you will enjoy from the terrace and from all windows: facing the lake, the mountains and the outline of Bezzuglio's roofs. The apartment is located just a short 10 minutes drive from: - The picturesque town of Salò, with its beautiful lake promenade, cosy cafés and beautiful boutiques, - The town of Toscolano Maderno with its sand beach by the sea, - The Vittoriale degli Italiani, a historical highlight unique in its kind, eclectic house and park built by Italian poet and adventurer Gabriele D’Annunzio. In the near surroundings you can also practice many outdoor activities and sports such as hiking and mountain biking (a hiking trail starts just in front of the door), sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing as well as playing golf. Moreover, at a short distance, you can reach following attractions and art cities: - The national park Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, in which the small village of Bezzuglio is located, - Sirmione, romantic peninsula in the lake, famous for the Grottoes of Catullus (Grotte di Catullo, a striking example of Roman villa) and for its thermal baths, - Verona, amazing Italian art city, Unesco worldwide heritage, located a short hour by car, - Brescia, picturesque city, also listed by Unesco in the worldwide heritage sites, - The production area of Franciacorta sparkling white whine, Italy’s famous Champagne Wine, is less than one hour drive from Bezzuglio, - Many other cities of art, such as Trento or Mantova, or numerous shopping opportunities in nearby Fashion Outlets, - International airport of Verona Aeroporto internazionale di Verona Villafranca is 85 km away. The apartment is perfect for you if you are looking for a quiet holiday in a rural village immersed in nature and away from mass tourism :-) However, this is probably not the best place for you if you want to be in the middle of the scene and have everything at walking distance, such as supermarkets, shops, cafés. These can be reached by car (10 minutes drive) instead. Also, please note that the apartment is immersed in nature that you will be able to appreciate in its many forms: from birds singing in the morning to frogs croaking in the summer evenings, from (harmless) insects on the terrace to - if you’re lucky enough to see them - geckos who feed on them. WiFi internet connection is provided, but usage data is not unlimited: checking your email or looking for information on the web will be fine, but watching streaming movies exceeds monthly data usage, which might cause the next guest not to be able to use internet at all. Please note that the apartment is located on the third floor (NO elevator). The last bit of the ride to reach the apartment is a bit steep, we suggest to ride with the lowest gear. You will be guided to the apartment by Ilaria, my co-host, or Sergio, her husband. The local tourism policy requires payment of a fee of 1 EUR per person per night. Ilaria, my co-host, will kindly request you the payment of this fee in cash, upon your arrival. For a good culinary experience, make sure to visit closeby Trattoria Riolet (reservation needed in advance) or enjoy the lake view having a great pizza from Nablus restaurant terrace.
