Ideally situated at the heart of Normandy, our property offers serenity and charm in the Normandy countryside about 2h15 from Paris by car. Perfect for a stay with friends or family ! Our house is a beautiful XVIIth century property, surrounded by a nice big garden and an typical apple trees ochard. We offer 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Each room was recently renovated but remains in a classical decoration style. The house has a nice living room with a great fire place. You may also use the kitchen if required. The region Basse-Normandie offers a rich history and a great diversity of landscapes which are close to the house: D-Day Beaches, Caen Mémorial, Guillaume le Conquérant's abbey, Bayeux and its famous tapestry, nice seaside towns : Deauville, Cabourg, Honfleur, and the " pays d'auge". You can also easily reach Le Mont Saint Michel (1h30 from the house by car), Saint Malo, the "falaises d' Etretat", Rouen, Monet's house and gardens in Giverny, the haras du Pin... The opportunities to practice sport are numerous : horse riding, hiking, canoeing, water sports on the coast, and there's a lot of golfs (the amazing Omaha Beach golf). In the village, don't forget to visit the archeological roman site, which is very pleasant and interesting, Vieux-la-Romaine. Vieux is 12 km from Caen, the biggest city nearby, where you will find plenty of shops, restaurants, cinemas, museums, the train station and the airport.
