Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located in the shadows of Mt. Katahdin on Ambajejus Lake just minutes from Millinocket and Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach, canoes and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo. We have comfy leather furniture, WiFi, and Dish Network. Full kitchen with newer appliances and stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc., and a laundry room for your convenience. Panoramic view of the lake no matter if you are sitting in the dining room or living room. Towels and linens are also supplied for your convenience. Guests are welcome to use the beach, kayaks, and canoes. There is also a furnished screened gazebo to use and a hammock to relax on. Plenty of games and puzzles for a low keyed or rainy day or challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes or cornhole. I like to greet our guests, but other than that we are available either by phone or in person since we live on the premises. Guests will have us as neighbors since we live on the premises. We have 2 restaurants 2-3 miles from us and a Trading Post that has take out sandwiches and pizza, souvenirs, beverages, and some essentials also 2 miles from us. You will need your own transportation to get to the cottage and for exploring. We do not have public transportation or taxi services in our area. Please be respectful of the homeowners and of neighbors. No parties, no smoking, and quiet hours start at 10pm. Voices carry when you are on the lake especially during the night so please keep this in mind.
