Bright 3 room loft apartment in a nice 90 years old house – situated in cosy Potsdam-Babelsberg. In the neighborhood you will find the beautiful old residential district Neubabelsberg, the Lake Griebnitz and the Park Babelsberg. Berlin an the centre of Potsdam are easy to reach with public transportations. Near Uni Griebnitzsee, Hasso-Plattner-Institut, Filmstudios Babelsberg: We rent out our beautiful 3 room loft apartment with old, slanting roof beams, spacious kitchen/living area and 2 bedrooms – with oil-impregnated oak flooring throughout the entire apartment. There is one bedroom with a double bed (1,60 m) and wardrobe and a second bedroom/study room with sofa bed (1,40 m), desk and a chest of drawers. The large combined kitchen/living room includes a cosy living room corner with an extendable couch, cable TV, dinner table and kitchen. At request, we can provide a high chair of the brand „Stokke-TrippTrapp“ as well as a baby bed. Babysitter-Service. Bath towels and bed linen are provided. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen of the brand „Bulthaup“ with ceramic cooking surface, an oven, dish washer, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom has a window and a bathtub (showering is possible while sitting). A hairdryer is provided. Joint use of the washing machine is possible after consultation. The special charm of the apartment is made up by its old character and many roof windows, from where one can enjoy a great view over the greenery. The view from the living room couch directly at our huge old red beech is especially scenic. The apartment is part of a beautiful house built in the 1930s, located in the popular district Babelsberg Nord. Our family of four people lives on the first and second floor. Guests have their own seating area in our garden. The apartment is located in 5 minutes walking distance to Lake Griebnitzsee, 2 minutes walking distance to the next bus stop and about 10 minutes walking distance to the next tram and metro stations. The metro takes 30 minutes to the Central Station of Berlin and 10 minutes to Potsdam Central. The Dutch quarter of Potsdam can be reached within 15 minutes by tram, ice cream places, restaurants and shops are located within walking distance to the apartment. At the nearby metro station Griebnitzsee bicycles and canoes can be rented. The exclusive residential area Neubabelsberg with its unique villas is located closeby, the same applies to the film studios of Babelsberg, Lake Griebnitzsee and Parforceheide, a parc inviting for long walks, runs and bike rides. Glienicker Brücke (the bridge of Glienicke), Teltow canal, lake Wannsee and Parc Babelsberg are also not far. You'll have your own apartment. We meet in the garden! We live in a very green and familiar part oft Potsdam, lots of forests, lakes and parks around. Berlin and the centre of Potsdam are nevertheless near. Perfect for all who like to see new things and prefer having a cosy holiday home. You'll reach the S-train to Berlin at walking distance of at about 12 minutes. Tram to the centre of Potsdam in at about 8 minutes.
