The best kept secret on the Costa del Sol! La Alcaidesa is a small and relaxed town that offers a gorgeous long sandy beach, amazing golf courses, great food and drinks. Our apartment is conveniently located near all this, and has a great pool too! The apartment is a modern, light and airy space which opens onto our private garden and covered patio looking out over the Mediterranean. Our garden leads directly down to the communal swimming pool. The beach is only a 5min walk also. The apartment complex is a quiet and calm environment, but only a 5min walk from the towns main square with several bars and restaurants. The master bedroom looks out across the garden and sea view. It is en-suite, with a jacuzzi bath, and has a super-king sized bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, utility room and dining/living room. The apartment has central AC serving all rooms, a dishwasher and washing machine. A paddle tennis court is located within the apartment complex which is available to all guests. A 20% discount at the golf club is available as a guest staying in the town. The full apartment and private garden will be all yours. A designated parking space is provided in the buildings secure underground car park, with lift access to the apartment. Our garden leads directly onto the communal gardens and swimming pool, which has sun loungers with tiki umbrellas. The pool is within a secure fenced/gated area and has a lifeguard on duty. When you arrive, you can either be met at the apartment complex by our agents, or go to their office which is located next door to the apartment complex. Either way, you will be welcomed and shown around the apartment. Our agents will be able offer advice on just about any subject. They speak Spanish, German and English fluently. The apartment is within the Alcaidesa Village complex, in the small town of Alcaidesa, situated between Sotogrande and Gibraltar. The town is easily accessed by car from Gibraltar airport (20mins away) and Malaga airport (1hr 15mins). As a relatively recent development, we believe Alcaidesa is a hidden gem. It offers spectacular weather, a gorgeous sandy beach that stretches for several kms, two fantastic golf courses on your doorstep and several wonderful restaurants and bars. A 15min drive takes you to Sotogrande and the famous Valderrama golf course. Alcaidesa's beach has 'blue flag' status, recognising its cleanliness and amenities. Alcaidesa is home to a mix of locals, expats and tourists. The town has a quiet, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The nearby towns of Sotogrande and Duquesa provide plenty of vibrant nightlife options when needed. You can easily walk to all but one of Alcaidesa's restaurants from the apartment within 5mins. The golf course is a relatively short walk, but you may wish to drive for 2mins instead! The beach is a 5min walk. There is a 'mini-mart' in the town for essentials, but we recommend you go to Sotogrande (15min drive) for a supermarket, there are several to choose from. Alcaidesa is a 5min drive from the A-7 motorway which provides easy routes to many surrounding sites. The following sites are within a 1 hour drive: Gibraltar, Tarifa, Zahara de los Atunes, Ronda, Algotocin/Gaucin, Castellar de la Frontera, Marbella, Puerta Banus and Estepona.
