One indoor cat will insist on remaining incognito in a closed off section of the home. The outdoor animals enjoy keeping each other company and are quite mellow. The cedarwood sauna is a wonderful treat especially during the cool weather seasons. Our 1/3 acre lot contains various garden spaces to enjoy. Feel free to inquire if you will have the entire house to yourself because we, your hosts, frequently travel and it could very well be the case. Should we be planning to share the common spaces we will clearly communicate prior to completing the booking process only upon guest's enthusiastic agreement. We want guests to fill the spaces of our home with as much privacy freedom or social interaction as wished! Guests lead the way with all the community spaces. We are in a small kid-friendly neighborhood community situated 10 miles outside of town next to farms and cattle ranches. People on the street wave as cars drive by. Downtown Tehachapi has an impressive small town variety of shopping and dining experiences from sushi to BBQ or boutiques to spa treatments. BestofTehachapi shares the local voted favorites. IF GUESTS BRING PETS... a fee at the rate of additional guest per night will be billed after reservation is booked through Airbnb's request platform. IF GUEST WITH PETS AGREE... to book reservation with host present, guest pets take precedence in the home although we have a dog of our own who stays with host at all times. We will allow interaction with pets gauged by guest responses and safety protocols between animals. If need be we will make arrangements to keep our dog separated without visibility to your animals.
