Kingfisher - spacious, cosy, glamping cabin PL30

Kingfisher is one of two luxurious glamping cabins located on our award-winning boutique campsite. Mena Farm is in the middle of nowhere, but the centre of everywhere! Our closest village is Lanivet, the official centre of Cornwall which means our location is perfect for exploring the county. With easy access to the A30, you can reach beaches on either North or South coasts in just 25 minutes. Children's play area, farm animals, nature trails, shop and games barn all available on-site. Kingfisher is a spacious but cosy glamping cabin, newly built in 2021, and fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The sleeping area has either a super-king bed, or two twins, depending on your preference, and a double-sofa bed in the living area, so will sleep a maximum of four comfortably. The living area also has a TV & DVD player, a dining area, and fully fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink. The cabins are fully insulated and centrally-heated so perfect for year-round, self-catering stays. To maximise your enjoyment of our location, it is recommended that you have your own transport. Parking on-site is free. Once checked in, guests are left alone to get on with enjoying their stay. Depending on the time of year, guests can either find us at the campsite reception, or give us a call and we'll pop out to see them. Mena Farm occupies 15 acres of beautiful, Cornish countryside. Whilst no longer a working farm, our pet Kune Kune pigs, Rodney and Del Boy, and our pet chickens always welcome a visit. We are in a perfect location for exploring Cornwall, and have the Eden Project, Lanydrock National Trust Estate, Cardinham Woods, Charlestown and the Camel Trail within just a few minutes drive. Bodmin Moor is on our doorstep, with walks and trails directly from the site. We're also located at the mid-way point of the Saints Way, which forms part of the longer Cornish Celtic Way - perfect for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore the area. Supermarkets are available just 4 miles away in Bodmin, whilst our local village, Lanivet, offers an award-winning pub and fish & chip restaurant/takeaway. During the Summer months, we have regular visits from pop-up food and drink stalls on-site, offering pizza, cocktails and waffles in the evenings, and coffee/breakfast in the morning. We're just 20 minutes from Newquay Airport, 10 minutes from Bodmin Parkway railway station with regular trains from London, 3 miles to the Newquay Branch Line, and around 1.5 miles from our local village, Lanivet. Whilst there are walking trails from Mena, the nearest bus stop is in Lanivet (for buses to Bodmin, St Austell and further afield), but we would recommend bringing or hiring your own car so that you have the flexibility to explore everything Cornwall has to offer. You can reach anywhere within the county by car within an hour of Mena and there is a single parking space available at the cabin. Wifi is available in the cabin, and we have full 4G signal across the site. We have EV charging points available on a pay per charge basis. The laundry room has shared facilities including a laundry sink, iron and ironing board. The washing machine and tumble dryer are both coin-operated.
