Cozy rural house close to the beach.

We have a cozy house in a rural setting , surrounded by subtropical nature near the village of Almayate , where you can breathe clean and fresh air away from the city traffic and smog. We are very close to the most beautiful villages of Costa Axarquia, Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical - Torre del Mar, Nerja, Frigiliana, Torrox, Almuñécar, La Herradura and only 30 minutes from the city of Málaga and ten more from its airport. The hosts live in a separated apartment within the property. Our house located 1,5 km away from the main street of the village, being the last 500 meters unpaved, dirt road. Has got its own gate and wide parking zone. Distributor, 2 spacious rooms, kitchen-dining room, and living room. Outside there is a half-covered area with a countertop, BBQ fireplace, and gas grill. Other details: swimming pool, kitchen vitro-ceramic, gas heated boiler, small garden, satellital TV. It has drink water supply from the town hall. The house has its own fenced plot in which we can enjoy its small pool, while listening to the birds singing, allowing the children to play freely in a large yard. Enjoy a tasty barbecue on the summer terrace, or a chilled glass of wine on the rooftop terrace watching the green hillsides of the mountains which surround the house. There is ample parking space. The house is fully furnished and equipped with appliances, allowing our guests access to nature without compromising any comforts. The terrace is accessible from the front of the housing through external stairs. Sup. approx. 20 m2. Sunny most of the day. 5 mins from the sea by car, or 20 mins walk. For the more daring this is an ideal place to start on a hiking expedition or on a mountain bike route, as its privileged enclave will delight the mountain fans. For the beach lovers, we are only 1,5 km away from one of the most natural parts of the Mediterranean coast. The beach itself is 3 km long and comprised of dark Mediterranean sand. It never gets busy, even at the height of summer. Being such a large stretch, you'll always find a quiet corner to yourself. ENGLISH ***After long raing periods (normally during wintertime), the access road might not be in best conditions. If you plan to visit us within a few days, please contact us before booking in order to check the status of the way. Or if you have an SUV or high ride car, you can book directly. *** The pool and barbecue area is common to the two buildings of the complex. Owners live in a separated apartment within the property. The house offers complimentary wi-fi free of charge. We live in the same area and are always there for you, should you need any help or advice. For long-term stays we are offering a free cleaning service including fresh sheets (according to prior agreement). This property is located in a so called "cortijada", which is a typical rural plot in Andalucia consisting in a few houses near a farming area. The closest bus stop is 2000 mts away from the house, on the N-340 National Road. From there you can get regional buses (ALSA) westward to Málaga city, or eastward to Nerja, Torrox, etc. You can reach the beach walking along a shortcut (dirt road) just 20 mins away, or 5 minutes if you decide to use the car. The nearest supermarket (Supersol) is located on the village's main street, only 1.5 km or 20 minutes walk away. IMPORTANT: As the last 700 mts of the path are dirt road, and therefore some low ground clearance (ride height) cars might struggle to circulate espcially if the driver is not used to country roads. In that situation, it's possible (and eventually advisable) to leave the car on a parking space 150 mts away (still very safe) within the cortijada. There's a pedestrian shortcut that links to the house, not suitable for people with reduced mobility, or pram/stroller. Nevertheless, the hosts drive this road on a daily basis with a normal/urban car. Almayate has a hand full of bus stops with good connections several times per hour that take you nearly anywhere. Be it Torre del Mar, Vélez-Málaga, Nerja or Málaga – just catch a bus if you don’t want to rent a car or don’t feel like searching for parking. The way from house to bus stop about is 25 min (2km). It is also comfortable for bike riders. Car is not strictly necessary, but still recommended. You can be bathing in the morning in the house ,and in the afternoon swim in the beach of Almayate and Torre del Mar on Costa del Sol and dining at a snack bar. Almayate's shore offers peace and tranquillity and is appreciated for the charm of its non urban environment. Rest, silence and nature. El Hornillo beach (the closest to our house) has received the quality certification EcoPlayas. Some minutes walking you can also find one of the most visited naturist (nudist) beaches in Andalucía, which also counts with the naturist camping Almanat.
