Spectacular views and sunsets, gorgeous 20’ x 40’ saltwater gunite pool with attached spa, outdoor shower, cable, HD tvs, wi fi, DVD player, Apple TV, propane fireplace, Webster Propane BBQ grill, and chef’s kitchen stocked with most equipment needed to cook a lovely meal. Built in gunite pool and spa, outdoor shower, outdoor dining under a vine covered pergola, fully furnished outdoor lounging on upper and lower patios set among beautiful landscaped gardens, 1 acre of property, and a large driveway that can accommodate several cars (but only those of renters). Owners are not on the property but are always at the renter’s disposable via text or phone call. There is a local property manager who can be there in very short order in the event any hands on attention is needed in short order. Cutchogue is a lovely, small hamlet tucked into the town of Southold, NY. It is on the North Fork of Long Island with a unique mix of wineries, beaches and farms. Private and peaceful, our home is minutes away from beaches, high end (or deliciously homey) dining, and shopping. You would never imagine the convenience of a large retail grocery store (King Kullen), a fresh specialty seafood shop (Braun’s) and wine/liquor store is just a 3 minutes drive away as you’re languishing by the 40’ x 20’ private pool surrounded by an acre of serine landscaped terrain. Of course, you’ll want to stop at 8 Hands Farm (literally on the corner of our street) before shopping retail, where you can experience all a farm has to offer. From its Butcher Shop you can purchase pasture raised, grass-fed meats, sausages and charcuterie. Or just stop by to pick up nutritious eggs from their pastured chickens, fresh produce grown without pesticides or herbicides, or prepared foods inspired by what they grow. 8 Hands even offers fiber related products from their heritage flock of sheep, and many more interesting items to peruse while you’re there. To complete to bountiful mix of culinary choices is the specialty cheese store (The Village Cheese Shop) and Italian market (Lombard’s Love Lane) just 8 minutes away in Mattituck. Of course, last but certainly not least - the wineries- there are over 40 on the North Fork! Many are within minutes of our home. Our favorite- Bedell Winery, is about a five minute drive. If you want to explore - the North is your Oyster (no pun intended), and this space is too small to mention all of its attractions. A few suggestions to get you started: Greenport - charming seaport town that’s wonderful for lunch/dinner, strolling, exploring and shopping. Hallock State Park - beach & hiking. Orient state Park - beach, hiking, biking, nature trails, picnic, family day, light houses. The Hampton Jitney bus stop is a 3 minute drive away, great for getting to or from New York City. We can also recommend a private driver/winery tour guide (for smaller groups). This is beautiful, private property that really must be seen in person. Looking out the large glass sliders, from the upper patio or from the pool area, all one sees for miles are fields, trees, vineyards and a quaint church in the distance. It feels as if you're in Tuscany or Provence.
