Need a home base for playing a gig, attending a wedding, visiting family, friends or colleges, or simply a getaway? Come enjoy our beautiful, large home with exceptional land and privacy in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Northampton --- all within a short few blocks to Smith College and an easy walk downtown. Dogs welcome! Large, beautiful and sunlit kitchen and dining room; gorgeous and airy sun room; large, private stone patio with stunning view of a lush ravine and a trail leading to the Mill River; two good size yards for playing or hanging out. Enjoy the whole house and outdoor spaces. (Black studio on property, basement and attic are not included in the rental.) Am always available by cell or text anytime you need me. I may be staying next door at our studio on my property. Our neighborhood feels like a large park where people come to stroll and walk their dogs down to the lush river trail, often in the middle of our treelined street. It's quiet and charming yet minutes from downtown & Smith College. We walk everywhere... We have parking for 4 or 5 cars, but the street parking is free, easy and plentiful. Buses are available about 4 blocks away in front of Smith College that head to Amherst and elsewhere. The bike path is about 3/4 mile away... Please let me know if you're interested in borrowing bikes... Two adults max per bedroom, additional children are fine, no charge. I'm also fine with additional people sleeping on the couches, i.e., more than 10 people here, but I need to know in advance to ensure sufficient bedding is set. And additional people would be $50/person.
