Yard Farm Apartment

This is a peaceful self contained rural retreat which is situated above a working livery. Chickens and ducks roam free in the yard! A great place to switch off and relax. There are lovely pubs and restaurants nearby. Ewhurst village is a short walk away and Cranleigh village is a short drive away. We are situated in the beautiful Surrey Hills - wonderful cycling country. We hope you enjoy your stay here. This is an apartment with its own front door and lock key safe so you are completely independent to come and go as you please. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, an open plan kitchen with a table that seats 4 and a living space with TV and log burner. The bathroom has a shower and no bath. During the day there are people coming and going as this is a working livery - there is always a friendly face to point you in the right direction! You will have access to the living accommodation and the yard. Please feel welcome to use the map and explore this beautiful part of Surrey. We would be grateful if you don't touch or feed the horses in the livery. Mike, my husband, and I are available to help during your stay - you have only to ask! Yard Farm Apartment is on a quiet country road, on the outskirts of the village of Ewhurst. The ducks waddle across the road and paddle in the puddles! Ewhurst is a quiet, friendly village and nearby Cranleigh has all the amenities you may want to use. We have a lovely cockerel called Colin who can be faintly heard in the morning.The windows of the apartment are double glazed and he is a fair distance away. We have reasonable O2 and vodaphone signal but no EE/BT signal. We do, now, have Wifi - hurrah! The logburner is the main heating for the apartment. There is plenty of hot water.
