Kawee Luxury Bush Retreat is a beautiful timber house situated on approx. 3.2 acres of private pristine Australian Bushland, overlooking the Macdonald River and located in the Macdonald Valley, Hawkesbury NSW, just a short drive of approx. 1 hour from Sydney. Escape from city life to our unique accommodation comprising of two large bedrooms (one with a king bed and the other with a super king bed) and two living areas set up for the perfect adults only retreat, every room with expansive French windows showcasing stunning bush views. Go bushwalking on our property which backs onto National Park and enjoy the massive rock escapement and stunning 360 views from the top of the mountain. Treat yourself with a gourmet BBQ lunch, some wines and a cheese platter on the large outdoor deck, breathe in the fresh air and watch the sunset while listening to the sounds of serenity. In addition to the kitchen, on the deck there is also a full undercover outdoor kitchen with BBQ and wine fridge available for use. A great spot to enjoy an afternoon with friends or a romantic evening with somebody special. Enjoy freshly laid eggs for breakfast from our friendly chickens, cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or visit one of the various local cafes / pubs for a tasty meal. We can pre-arrange a grazing platter, or dessert platter for your arrival from $35 per person (please get in touch to arrange this). Keep cosy and warm during winter in front of the fireplace with unlimited fire wood. Enjoy the peace and quiet of reading a book or two in this relaxing and spacious home while you recharge. We have plenty of books, board games, a PlayStation with games and Netflix for those rainy days. Located close to some of the Hawkesbury's finest bushwalking tracks such as the Convict Trail, Sheppards Gully and Finchs Line as well as various local water sport activities such as kayaking, boating, fishing and water skiing. Guests have access to the whole house and property except for the walk in wardrobe and garage. (One other wardrobe is available for guest use) We will give guests their space but will be contactable by email or phone. As our dogs live on the property when we are there, and we have chickens on site, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.
