Fully renovated, it has a large great room, a galley kitchen, a dining area, a lounging/TV area, cable TV, a bluetooth speaker for tunes, a DVD player for movies, a sitting and reading corner, and a queen sleeper sofa. The separate bedroom has a queen sized bed and a washer and dryer. There is a deck with a propane grill for barbecuing. We supply high speed wifi and many premium cable channels. We are located in an old Quaker part of the village of Milton. Our barn was used for the gardens and greenhouses that were part of the original larger property. However this property is not a farm; it is in an active neighborhood with suburban life going on. There are beautiful gardens all around the house and the river is at the foot of the hill! There is also a lake behind the house and an old Quaker cemetery next door. Friendly neighbors! We have many recommendations for visiting breweries and vineyards, great restaurants and cafes. We can point you to historic sites, good hiking, The Walkway over the Hudson, or art museums such as Storm King and Dia. Since we live on property and have close neighbors we ask that you be respectful by being quiet and turning off outside lights when you come in at night. Unfortunately we don't feel that our space is suitable for children under 12. You will have access to the entire barn, as well as off street parking for two cars. Please inform us of your arrival time after 2pm and before 8pm. We really enjoy meeting our guests and will want to greet you!
