Room with a View

Our home is a charming detatched Victorian Villa c.1890. There is a tiered garden to the front and a kitchen garden to the back. The room we are offering is a spacious, light and airy room, hosting a queen bed, with views over the Firth of Forth. We have the facilities to provide a travel cot and, if required, the use of a single room at a cost to be negotiated. Adjacent is a bathroom for guests to use, all are on the first floor. We offer complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits from our kitchen. Continental is included, cooked breakfast / packed lunch or evening meals can be arranged with prior knowledge and are priced accordingly. There is a cosy lounge area to read, work, play board games and watch t.v. We also have a large guests dining area. You are welcome to relax in the garden - weather depending. We have free wifi. As we live on the premises we will be on hand to assist any way we can, but we value your privacy and ours. There is a beautiful public park nearby (800 yds), Ravenscraig , that picks up the Fife Coastal Path, it also takes you through Dysart Harbour, which very picturesque and historical. There is also a cafe for that little break ! There is a bus stop opposite our house that will take you into the centre of Kirkcaldy, where there is a bus terminal, and a main railway station. We are close to all major road routes, for north, west, east and south. St Andrews and Edinburgh are a 40 minute drive away. Please note prices are per room per night for 2 people. Single and extra guests charged accordingly. We have two cats on the premises and don't allow them into the guests bedrooms. We don't allow smoking in the edrooms, but if asked we provide a smoking area.
