Winding River Cottages-Pine Cone Cottage

The Pinecone Cottage is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. There is one other cottage and one house also on the property. This cottage is directly on the Menominee River, very close to Marinette, WI/ Menominee, MI. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, a full kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances (stove/oven, refrigerator, over-the-stove microwave), and a living area with a 50" TV, chair, and futon, which can convert into a full-size bed. The cottage has double glass doors that lead outside to your own stamped concrete patio area, complete with a table and four chairs. It also has its own fire pit. The two cottages share a combination gas/charcoal grill. There are 6 kayaks and paddles, in addition to a pedal boat that holds 5 people to use free of charge. There is a 2016 Sylvan pontoon boat available for a surcharge. Contact owner for details. We are dog friendly--we love dogs! We ask that you clean up after your dog in the yard and keep your dog on a leash when other guests are around. There is a $25/stay fee payable upon arrival. Each unit has undergone a complete renovation with just about everything being brand new--except for the roof:) Really! You will have access to all of Evergreen Cottage. You will not share the living space with anyone. You will have your own patio and fire pit area. The two cottages share a gas/charcoal grill. The cottage is all yours. My husband and I may be around working on a different cottage or doing yard work, but we want you to have all the relaxation you deserve. This property is feet away from the Menominee River--Upper Scott flowage area. This part of the river is quite large and feels more like a lake for water skiing, wave running, tubing, kayaking, fishing, etc... in the summer months. In the winter months, you can ice fish, go snowmobiling, and any other winter sport you would like. These properties are about 7 minutes outside of Marinette, WI. Even though you will be close to all the conveniences of town, you will feel like you are far away from it all. There is a road close to the back-side of the cottage and you may hear some road noise. Since the cottage is directly on the Menominee River, please watch children carefully, when they are present.
