Hello!Thank you for viewing our cottage looking forward to welcoming our guests in 2022- for short breaks please do message, also:please note we have pod charger work morning of 25/03 8-12 So, we will be able to offer electric charging point from 26/3 Flagged floor to kitchen/ dining new range double oven cooker Enc south facing garden Double bedroom Single bedroom Sitting room / Tv - built in freesat /dvd Bathroom bath/shower On site parking one vehicle shared drive Travel cot/booster seat Quiet cottage on a single track lane in centre of small village The cottage is run by the family who live in the adjoining annexe- 90%of our bookings are return guests ,which is testament to the care and hospitality we extend ,to all our guests. The cottage is excellently located , being just less than 2 miles in both directions from the sea, and the heritage footpath, passes by the courtyard gate . The coastal path can be picked up at top of village. Ideal retreat for walkers - we are on north east coast of the island . Our location celebrates the historical importance of the island. The heritage footpath runs up to Parys mountain , the route the ‘Copr ladies and men, would take from the village , in their clogs ! to work at the mine. Amlwch port a natural inlet , was once the busiest port in the world . There is a fabulous circular walk up to the mountain, back down to port and then back to the village . 4-5 miles You can of course, join the 126 miles of coastal path just outside the village. The cottage is located equi distant between two very different beaches : Lligwy blue flag beach and Llaneillian shingle beach light house. Please note Covid remains in our communities please confirm a negative lateral flow test prior to travel thank you! Our guests have the complete use of the cottage/ courtyard entrance area on site parking and their own enclosed south facing garden- the garden is secure for a child . We do have a cat and a small friendly bichon. Your hosts live in the adjoining annexe , and share drive with you. Energy surcharge applicable during winter months For shopping - all Major supermarket do deliver! Normally We like to welcome all our guests explain the workings of the cottage, a little of its history ,we used to leave a welcome hamper but at the moment we are leaving a gift card for our village artisan shop Ty Copr , specialising in crafted local items local soaps ,beers, gin , treats 😀 In these times, access will be automatic, and advised after booking confirmation. We normally show our guests round and leave literature for you ,not possible at the moment, so are trying to get that electronically delivered instead. We will require your email details for this -not always passed on by air b n b! Any queries or problem please text in first instance : should we need to access we would do so with masks with your permission , preferably while you are enjoying your day out😀 We are between Porth Llaneilian - a shingle cove leading to coastal paths and the lighthouse privately owned and Traeth Lligwy a blue flag beach. Our nearest supermarket is the co op Amlwch- Amlwch port once the busiest port in world !during the copper revolution, it is a historical exploration a visit to the sail loft a must. Penysarn developed as a village to support the Parys mountain copper mine mainly for making clogs and the heritage footpath leads you gently up the mountain through the heather and copper scape- spectacular industrial landscape - from the viewing platform you can see the lay of the island to plan your next adventure ! Car is a definite !! for discovering the more remote places on the island - there is a bus service however guests should study timetable in advance as the service is ‘ extremely variable’ and very limited the number62 is the local service Dear Guests, we look forward to welcoming you! Welsh covid guidelines remain in place until end March This is a humble stone cottage ,greatly loved by its owners and the many regular returning guests. It is a quiet place . Internet is available but best in dining room - main bedroom. We are situated in the centre of a quiet village on the heritage footpath Beds , bedding ,furniture and curtains steamed and cleaned to standard , as well as enhanced cleaning protocol.This season we are trying to reduce the amount of plastic / chemicals used in the enhanced protocol utilising steam and eco friendly products SMOL/ ocean saver/true earth We source local trades artisans and crafters We will continue to provide gift vouchers for our local artisan shop. Please review welcoming notes and house rules for information regarding the cottage and essential services, please message if having difficulty downloading Check in at 5 however, we do advise on the day of your arrival, of earlier access IF POSSIBLE ,just as soon as housekeeping have completed
