Attractive home in Albany, Western Australia. This 3 year old house has everything you need for your stay. It is comfortable , welcoming and suitable for groups (friends or a family). It is in a quiet residential area and very easy walking distance to a shopping centre; the house has views across fields to the Stirling Ranges in the distance. Albany City Centre and Middleton beach are 10 minutes by car. The garden with patio and grassy outside space is safe for children and well behaved dogs. Our house is spacious and easy to enjoy. Furnishings are new and everything is in good condition. Rugs for comfort, warm feather and down quilts and cotton bed linen. It is light and airy and faces North East, the large windows let the sun in most of the day, with blinds to keep it out when it gets too warm! The bedrooms are a good size and all have fitted wardrobes with shelves and hanging space. There is a sofa bed in the living room, and we can supply extra bedclothes, please tell us in advance though. If using it brings you over the 6 people we will add a bit to the bill for extra washing and cleaning. we are continuously improving and upgrading Unit 2. The living area looks slightly different now, theTV is mounted on the wall and there is a book shelf under it, full of DVDs and books. This means that you have lots of choice for entertainment and more floor space in that area. Beds are now KS, QS and the two singles which will push together to make another QS, all in the name of progress; this has increased thecomfort level for everyone. The 2 singles work well as a QS and everything is held together with a mattress topper. You will have free run of the house with no restrictions. It also has a good sized garden with gates to keep dogs and children safely inside the boundaries.There is a large single garage and extra parking space on the driveway. It also has easy parking on the road for visitors or 3 car families. We live close by and can arrange a welcome pack of basics if requested. We will be on hand to tell you about the many treasures to be found in historic Albany, the quickest way to the beach, where to get the best coffee in town and the best fish and chips! We will do our very best to supply any extras you may need, we do have a certain amount of baby gear but would appreciate a bit of notice on that too. Our part of Lange is new. It is a mixed community of married couples retired and working, children of all ages, mothers and sons, single professionals and a few people in wheelchairs. We have accessible ramps etc and smooth, level pathways near our house . Whilst our house is not completely accessible, there are no steps and it will accommodate a wheelchair quite easily, we know because we have one. Our very first Air bandb guests also used a wheelchair and they were very happy. The bathrooms are not too big and have slip proof tiles on the floor, so they said it was all quite safe and easy to use. The roads round us are excellent because they are all new, and again very wheelchair/pushchair friendly. It is a very easy place to live. Albany has a very basic, limited bus service. Recently a bus service has been established just down the road , but you really need to use a car because every bus ends up in town, to get from one area to another takes ages and involves two bus rides in and out of the town. We have a large single garage, driveway and street parking. I should stick to the car if I were you! We can provide a cot upon request. We also have twin children's beds in the 3rd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a standard queen size bed. Please let us know which you would prefer before you arrive, or be prepared to give us a hand if you leave it to the last minute! We are happy to accommodate 2 children as well as 6 adults if the children are under 10. If they are over 10 then they will be deemed to be adults because they are likely to be as big. But absolutely no more than 8 people, including the kids, in the house. Please note this rule, because if you arrive with more people than the house will comfortably hold we will ask you all to leave. We reserve the right to ask for details of exactly who is coming before you arrive.
