The villa has been renovated to western standards and features many comforts such as a gourmet kitchen and luxurious sunken bath. Housekeeping cleans and makes up beds every day to your comfort. To make your stay even more comfortable the staff can make you breakfast,lunch and\or dinner on your request. Our housekeeper is an excellent cook and she loves to make you some meals. You pay for the local ingredients (depending on your personal wishes) and a small cooking fee. This can easily be arranged on site. You just, sit down and relax while everything around it is taken care of. Relax in tranquil settings around a modern pool and 1000m2 landscaped gardens. The villa is renovated and decorated to a high standard and exudes tropical elegance. We have used quality bed linen and towels to ensure your stay is comfortable. We also provide beach towels to avoid heavy suitcases! Our garden includes abundant wildlife and many species of fruits like avocado, bananas, papaya, coconut and mango. Our staff will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The manager can also arrange sightseeing and tours on request. Bedroom 1: Master Super King Bed with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Bedroom 2: The Pineapple room 2 single beds with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Bedroom 3: The Ocean Room 1 double bed with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Bedroom 4: The Jungle Room, King bed, ensuite bathroom and airconditioning. A fourth bedroom is only open if the booking is for 7/8 guests or on special request. The 1000 m2 garden features a 12ftx24ft overflow swimming pool and a porch with a lounge area and an outdoor dining area. We have a fully equipped gourmet kitchen: stove and large oven, coffee press and microwave. Large selection of dinner wear and kitchen utensils for the avid cook. At check in we provide a small welcome package. This will be enough to get you started. In garden we have a large fire pit /BBQ area Hairdryers and beach towels available. All bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans. All rooms in villa are fitted with British 3 pin plug and travel adaptors. Rooms will be cleaned and beds made every day. Linens/Towels changed every 3 days. Complimentary Wi-Fi up to a limit of 2 GB per day, any data that goes over daily limit an extra payment will be required. This can be arranged with the staff up to your needs. Washing service is available for a small fee per load. As we want to be environmentally friendly we have a solar heated hot water system. ** Note: there is NO generator on site. During power cuts, emergency lights are available. *** Normal electricity usage is covered in the rental price (up to 50 KWh / day). This is more than sufficient for normal usage. Unfortunately we have to charge excessive usage as electricity is scarce and by that very expensive in Sri Lanka. Every KWh over the daily 50 KWh will be charged with 100 SLR. At check-in and check-out the meter will be read. If there are additional costs they have to be settled before check-out. Most parts of the property are accessible to guests with exception of the following: Laundry Room ( staff only) and staff house. Our villa is staffed with fulltime housekeeping, a part time property manager and night security. We want you to relax and fully enjoy your holiday, so unless you contact us we will leave you in peace. Housekeeping is available during the day. We als provide Night security which is normal in Sri Lanka. This means most time of the day there will be staff. If there is any emergency please contact the staff. Situated in a safe and tranquil residential area you will be immersed in a lovely local village community but still be close to tourist attractions. Go for a walk or bike ride around the village and meet the friendly neighbours.Very close to the hustle and bustle of Hikkaduwa. A small local shops selling fresh fruit and vegetables is just opposite the villa. Ice cream is available right outside the gates by mobile vendors..just listen for the tunes! We are approx 2.5 km from the busy beach and can help you get a tuk tuk service to take you around town for a small fee. Hikkaduwa is a lively beach resort with many bars and restaurants.You can choose to party the night away or simply enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the stunning indian ocean with some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see! There are many shops boasting some local artwork and crafts and wooden carvings.There are also many tailors should you want some new outfits made! The largest grocery store is a short drive away. If you want our staff can help you with almost eveything, so all you have to do is sit back and relax in our idyllic garden or if you're up to it be part of the hip and lively scene on Hikkaduwa beach and party the night away! Close to Hikkaduwa and only 20 mins drive away is The UNESCO World Heritage site of the Galle Fort. Wonder the streets, explore the many heritage buildings and do some shopping in the many trendy and high end boutiques, grab a spot of lunch and even a massage in some of the nicest spas in the area. Soak up the history and culture with several museums. There is an abundance of fun and interesting activities available. IN season (nov-april) you can enjoy all kinds of water sports including surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Around town are many temples, access to Yoga and Ayurvedic Treatments. Relax and unwind and enjoy the many natural treatments available. For nature and photography enthusiasts there are many interesting sites and scenery. We are very close to Dodanduwa lagoon and is very nice to go for an afternoon boat trip with our neighbour in his canoe. We also recommend you try the Madu River lagoon and river boat trips where you can visit cinnamon island and some local monks,turtle hatchery in Kosgoda and local tea plantations. If you want to see wildlife in their natural environment, along with stunning scenery,we recommend and trip to Yala National Park. The park is a natural habitat and home to the islands largest population of leopards there also elephants,monkeys,many species of birds,buffalo and crocodiles. The tuk tuk(a three wheeler local taxi) can take you to local sites and they are a quick and easy way to get around. We can arrange these drivers for you. Should you wish to travel in an air conditioned car/van we have our own luxury van (up to 8 persons). The van can be hired for day trips and tours, for a daily fee and kilometer allowance, with a licensed driver. Tuk tuk to beach 500/600 rupess Airport transfer in our own luxury van can be arranged.: 21,000 LKR (van up to maximum 8 persons) please let us know at least 4 days in advance if you want to book this. We kindly ask you to supply flight details. Easy access to public transport by bus and train which is also a very cheap way to get around Please ensure pool area is used responsibly No pets allowed.
