Private Garden Studio

Our self contained and comfortable one bedroom studio comfortably sleeps two and is located in a quiet garden, close to public transport. Enjoy an en-suite and kitchenette for your convenience. Great access on the nearby light rail to the new Sydney Convention centre, Star City Casino, the Lyric Theatre, the Tramsheds, the Capitol Theatre and the Sydney Fish Markets. Our studio is situated in the back of our lovely garden. Peaceful and beautiful it will allow you to rest in between your busy time in Sydney. Amenities include a kitchenette with refrigerator, gas cooker, toaster and microwave so it is will be easy to cook up simple meals. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a double bed and a sofa bed which is perfect for one or two young children. A great place to stay if you are going to see a show at the Lyric Theatre or the Capitol Theatre as the Light Rail goes right by them both. The main room contains a double bed,a sofa (bed) hanging space and large cupboard for storage. The room has an air conditioner: cooling in summer and heating in the winter. There is a TV with a DVD player, radio and CD player and WiFi. Sheets, towels, soap and shampoo are supplied. Tea and coffee (plunger) are also provided. Wifi internet is also provided. The backyard is shared with the main house where we live however there is plenty of privacy. There is a BBQ for shared use and a private courtyard with a table and 2 chairs for your use. The washing machine is in the main house however it is free to use, you will just have to work out a time to access. Access to the studio is through a side passage along side the main house. We will meet with you to arrange keys etc, after this you will be independent to come and go as you like. We live in the main house so we can provide you with help/advice as needed. We have traveled widely both overseas and within Australia and although happy to sit and chat about travel we appreciate your privacy. We live in a quiet location with great neighbours. We are close to an award winning cafe - Sideways, where you can get great coffee and meals. We are also close to other cafes, restaurants and pubs. The light rail (Arlington) to Central, via the Fish Markets and the Casino is a 5 minute walk away. Stops at the Lyric Theatre, the Capitol Theatre and the new Convention Centre. You can alight at Jubilee park and go to the Tramsheds, a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Buses to the city are less than a 10 minute walk and trains about 15 minute walk. The airport is close by and costs about $30 by taxi. There is on street parking which is free.
