Historic cottage originally built in 1845 by John Foord. Extended in 1863 then beautifully restored and renovated by master craftsmen in 2005. Spacious and elegant residence with stylish interior and modern appliances. Murray River views, outdoor entertaining with open fireplace and a central and quiet location, its a great place! Parties and Events are not allowed. Spacious period home with four queen bedrooms, second living area or 5th bedroom, kitchen, dining and lounge area with beautiful fireplace, tv, sound system. Lovely outdoor entertainment area. Access to all areas except lock up storage and the shed. Feel free to call if you want some ideas of places to go and things to do. I am happy to help. Situated on a quiet street at the start of the Rutherglen rail trail as well as the John Foord Bridge to Federation Bridge (4klm) Murray River walking track which almost lands you at the Hatted Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Estate. Cofield Wines and Pickled Sisters Cafe are also a stroll or roll. Public Transport Bust Stop 500 m walk away which connects through to Melbourne. There is a small step at the front door and at the entry to berooms 3 and 4. Other bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, bathrooms and the other two entrances have no steps.
