Tower House in medieval village

Ancient tower-house located in the medieval village of Vallebona; the village is only 10 minutes drive from the sea but is completely immersed in the green of the valley. The accommodation includes the entire house from ground to sky (80 mq), with a large terrace from which you can wander with the view from the woods inland to the sea and you can admire the stars in the night. Details: independent entrance, two bedrooms, kitchen and dining room, two bathrooms and terrace with kitchenette. The entrance to the Tower house is independent, on the first floor you will find a double bedroom, a bathroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed. If necessary it is possible to add another bed. Going up the old slate stairs you get to the second floor consisting of kitchen, dining room and lounge / work area with desk and wifi. On the top floor there is the access to the attic terrace with a small kitchen area and bathroom. In this bright room you can have breakfast or grill in the evening overlooking the rooftops of the village. A second part of the terrace is outdoor and through a ladder, with a gate to prevent access to children, you will arrive at the highest point of the Tower house, on a wooden platform where you can see to the sea. Vallebona is an ancient Ligurian village of houses leaning against one another, you can explore the "carugi" the narrow and winding streets that climb through the village. In the village you can find the baker, the greengrocer, several bars and restaurants, the tobacconist, the hairdresser. A shuttle bus connects Vallebona to Bordighera every hour and to the sea. By car it will take 10 minutes to reach the sea. There are three free municipal parking near the village. Thanks to a very varied territory and a climate among the best in Europe you can practice many sports both mountain and marine or fluvial, while if you simply love nature, you will see the sunsets that have charmed Monet, among the 10 most fascinating in the world (National geographic, Secolo XIX). Bordighera's sea, a few kilometers from Vallebona, has been awarded for the past 23 years with the title of "Bandiera Blu", recognition for the clean sea, bathing services and environment protection. Inland you will be welcomed by the historic villages where you will find the roots of the ancient Ligurian Occitan / Provençal culture and in spring you will find wild flowers and herbs. If you are interested in the simple food of this rugged and narrow land between sea and mountains, you'll find tipycal little restaurants. As a tower house in a medieval village the house is developed upwards and has 2 flights of stairs plus a spiral staircase to reach the terrace, so it is not suitable for people with motor disabilities or older people.
