1 bedroom, 4th floor apartment in a modern chalet in the friendly resort of Les Diablerets. Fantastic, panaromic views (all green in summer, white in winter) of the mountain peaks and the cute, traditional village. Modern, premium construction with traditional chalet look and feel. A large bedroom (king-sized double bed), living area with a Balinese single bed, dining area, a modern kitchen and a large balcony to enjoy the views. Modern bathroom & shower. Covered garage. Common gym and sauna. The space is ideal for a couple. A couple with a child would also be very comfortable. Covered garage (very useful in the winter) with direct access to the building; gym and sauna (24/7 access with no additonal charge). Guests will appreciate the apartment's central location - you can walk to all places in the village, including the ski lifts. We live in our home 45 minutes away. This apartment is our holiday home, and we go there every few days. If your stay includes a weekend, we might see you. You will have access to the apartment via the on-site professional concierge. We and the concierge will provide you all the information you'll need. Les Diablerets has been consistently ranked among the top 10 villages in Switzerland. It is a great location for skiing. The nearest ski lift (Meillerets) is a 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Glacier 3000, which has snow all 12 months is a 15 minute drive (accessible by public bus also). Villars, Aigle and the world famous Swiss Riviera (Montreux / Vevey) are 30 minutes away, as is Gstaad. The village Les Diablerets is great for walks, has a scenic river, about 10 top quality restaurants, a few bakeries and a laiterie (not to be missed), a swimming pool and tennis courts (in the summer), skating rink (in the winter) and a couple of grocery stores and a pharmacy. The discotheque in the village can be a highlight of your stay! (Website hidden by Airbnb) Easy access from the Les Diablerets train station (5 minute walk). Multiple walking and trekking routes. Plenty of scenic drives (if coming by car). Bus service to Gstaad and Glacier 3000. Train to Aigle from where one connects to all over Switzerland, including direct direct train to Geneva airport.
