Portreath - Luxury B&B close to beach and woods

This is a luxury, adult only, small and relaxed, boutique b&b. Built entirely by the owners (no builders), this house is one of only 35 hotels and B&B's in the whole of the UK to attain the prized TripAdvisor platinum award for its advanced eco practices. Design led, it is a mix of mid-century and contemporary decor and furniture with many original pieces A romantic getaway for couples. No street noise, no streetlights. Just views to die for - the sound of the brook below and birdsong. Yet, we are only 8 minutes walk (on a pretty, very quiet road) away from the beach. Room 2 has a king sized bed, en suite bathroom with glassed walk-in shower and large private terrace overlooking the valley. 300 thread count linen, feather pillows and a mass of thick white towels are provided as well as duck island toiletries, free super fast WiFi, smart TV's with Amazon prime film streaming, silent fridge, coffee/tea making facilities and full sized hairdryer. Off street car parking and turnaround service if required. Best of all, we serve breakfast in your room at a time you choose (up to 10.00 am). Menus are available the day of your arrival and each morning after breakfast. You can access your room and terrace. We are nearly always available but visible only if you need us. Portreath is a small Cornish village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within a World Heritage Site. It has a beautiful beach that is great for surfing, a harbour, 3 pubs, several cafes, a shop and bakery and we are minutes away from the S.W coast path and the Portreath to Devoran tramway. You can hire surfboards, kayaks and bikes in the village. The natives are friendly and we love our visitors. We are close to all the attractions in Cornwall and you cannot beat the cliff top walks nearby. There are various buses that pass through Portreath including the 'topless' bus to St. Ives. Most connecting buses to other areas can be accessed from Redruth. Redruth train station is nearest to Portreath
