Nestled in the middle of the Ocala National Forest is the Historic Blue Creek Lodge. In our cottage you are steps away from your next boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, or bird watching adventure. Use the private onsite boat launch with plenty of room for docking the boat or feel free to drop a line anywhere. .Enjoy the quiet serenity of nature at its best with raccoons, squirrels, turkey, sand hill cranes, manatee, alligators, turtles, otters, and more wandering throughout the property. The Historic Blue Creek Lodge is located on Blue Creek minutes away from the St. Johns River and Lake George. In the quant village of Astor, FL are several restaurants, gas stations, and a local grocery store. It is a short 40 minute drive to the east coast to Ormond, Daytona, or New Smyrna beaches to see the Atlantic Ocean or a 2 hour drive to the west coast to see the Gulf of Mexico. Guests may use any part of the property. We are located 3 miles off of State Rt. 40 on a well maintained dirt road. This is a separate cottage attached to the main residence, Listed as a two bedroom but also has a day bed to comfortably sleep two more people.
