With spectacular sea & mountain views, Derwen is a perfect base for great North Wales destinations: Conwy, Llandudno, Snowdon & Anglesey are a short drive via the A55. Derwen is a quintessential period seaside property, with high ceilings and large bay windows, there are abundant mountain and sea views throughout the building. Being an end terrace, the property has its own private entrance and a selection of garden sitting areas which are absolute sun-traps. You'll be surprised how many different rooms there are to explore with space to give everyone some welcome peace and quite at the end of a long day on the beach. Also note Penmaenmawr beach really is a hidden gem - a quiet, but extensive shoreline. Plus you'll be just 2 minutes walk away - so grab your buckets, spades and beachballs and just walk down to the beach! Don't forget the coastal cycleway going through Penmaenmawr - great for running, walking and bike rides. Parking is on the road outside the property and the property is accessed easily via a key fob once you are checked in. We're a friendly crew and can be contacted throughout your stay to make sure you are a comfortable and relaxed as possible for your well-earned holiday :-) Incredibly close to the beach. Quiet, secure village. Fantastic mountain walks if you walk up the hill from the house. Tesco 7 minutes drive away, local convenience store and several takeaways in Penmaenmawr village. Please note, like many properties in North Wales, Derwen is on a hill and built on a bank. There are some steps up to the property so it isn't well suited for people with significant mobility problems. There is an alternative entrance further up the terrace which has fewer steps for easier access. Please get in touch if you have concerns. Guests area kindly asked to respect the neighbours' comfort by keeping noise levels at a reasonable level. Train station 3 minutes walk away. Fantastic road links via A55. Accomodation is really easy to get to from A55 and is 100 yards off the main road. We have a huge collection of DVD's ready to keep the whole family entertained on evenings or chilled out evenings in - with a TV/DVD player in the dining room and a TV/Blu Ray player in the living room.
